Well I thought I would share a little bit of my everyday life here in Japan with you. This is not only my apartment in Japan, but it is also my very first apartment that is completely my own. So please come in.....
Watch you step as you come in and please take off your shoes in the genkan (front entry). 
Do you need to use the washroom or would you like a drink as we walk by...
How about a Starbucks coffee or maybe a shower....
Please come into my room and make yourself at home.....
Thanks for visiting and you are welcome to come back, the door is always open. Please shut the door on your way out, I am going to lay down for a nap......

I love your place. How cool to have an apartment of you very own. And I noticed how clean your shower is! I'm glad you gave everyone a tour. I was wondering what your place was like. It is actually a lot bigger than I was expecting it to be. Have you had to change anything or is it how it was when you moved in? Very cool!

Laura of chorse there is room for you, you failed to see the bed in my closet that I can set up in a matter of minutes on my floor. I will even sleep on the floor if you want.
Sue I did clean the shower but I did not have my fun mask to wear. I had to buy a few new things and change it around, just so I could call it my own.

Your place looks great! I wish my apartment had been that nice when I was living in Noshiro! It looks perfect for you! You are doing very good at keeping this organized while having a small space! Hope to see you before we leave Aug. 14th. Our door is wide open!!
